We want you to be satisfied, so all eligible courses purchased can be refunded within 30 days, provided the request meets the guidelines in this refund policy. Certain restrictions may apply, and some purchases may only be eligible for refunds in the form of credits. We do not offer partial refunds for purchases, only full refunds if eligible.

Our 30-day refund policy is designed to allow students to learn risk-free. However, we must also protect our instructors from fraud and provide them a reasonable payment schedule. Payments are sent to instructors after 30 days, so we will not process refund requests received after the refund window.

Reasons for Denied Refunds

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to limit or deny refund requests in cases where we believe there is refund abuse, or a violation of our policies, including but not limited to the following:

  1. A notable amount of the course has been consumed or downloaded by a student before the refund was requested.
  2. Multiple refunds have been requested by a student for the same course.
  3. Excessive refunds have been requested by a student.
  4. Users who have their account reported, banned, or course access disabled due to a violation of our Terms or Trust & Safety Guidelines.
  5. A refund has already been granted by a third party, such as a third-party payment processor.
  6. A student has accessed any premium content while their payment was active.

These refund restrictions will be enforced to the extent permitted by applicable law.

 

Refunds for Specific Product Types Individual Courses

Individual courses are standalone courses that are not part of a subscription model. You can purchase access to these courses with a one-time payment.

Note:

Guided Projects (and other types of projects) are not eligible for a refund.

  • Courses that start on the day of payment. You will be eligible for a full refund on these courses if you meet both of the following requirements:
    You cancel the course within 7 days of your original payment.
    You have not already received a Course Certificate for completing the course.
  • Courses that start after the payment date (Pre-enrollment)
    If you pre-enroll in an individual course that has not launched yet, you will be eligible for a full refund on these courses if you meet both of the following requirements:
  1. You cancel the course within 7 days of the course launch date.
  2. You have not already received a Course Certificate for completing the course.
  3. Once you complete a course and receive a Course Certificate, you will no longer be eligible for a refund.

 

Specializations Purchased with a One-Time Payment

Specializations are a set of multiple courses on a specific topic or career path.

  1. Specializations that start on the day of payment
    You will be eligible for a refund for these Specializations if you meet both of the following requirements:
    You cancel the Specialization within 7 days of your original payment.
    You have not earned a Course Certificate for any of the included courses.
  2. Specializations that start after the payment date (Pre-enrollment)
    If you pre-enroll in a Specialization that has not launched yet, you will be eligible for a refund if you meet both of the following requirements:
    You cancel the Specialization within 7 days of the Specialization’s launch date.
    You have not earned a Course Certificate for any of the included courses.

Once you complete a course that is included in your Specialization and receive a Course Certificate, you will no longer be eligible for a refund.Subscription Plans

Subscription plans do not offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, and no refunds or partial refunds are available unless otherwise required by applicable law.

If you’re enrolled in a subscription via a free trial promotion, you can cancel the free trial at any time, without being charged.

You will not be eligible for a refund once your trial period ends.

Depending on where you are located, you may be entitled to a refund as required by law. We determine your location based on the country associated with your account.

 

Programs Offered by Partner Institutions

Refund policies for Degree programs and University Certificate programs are determined by the partner institution. 

If you enrolled in a course through a third-party sale or promotion on their platform or site, please contact the third-party directly to request an that is offering the program. Please refer to that institution’s policies for information about refunds. Third-Party Sales or Promotions refund. We do not have access to the necessary information to review or process these refund requests.
